CISO who designed, implemented and operated an enterprise cyber program for a mid-market business leveraging the NIST framework. Key components of the program included employee education and testing, vendor assessments, establishing corporate policies and metrics, implementing technology tools, establishing critical partnerships and board-level and executive-level reporting.
Co-authored and facilitated quarterly strategic business planning sessions for key company executives at a mid-market service business. Content was focused on strategic imperatives, operational performance and team learning.
As a CIO, led ERP implementations for 4 businesses located in the US and 3 businesses located in Canada, Germany, France. Oracle was the primary ERP platform for 6 of the implementations and JD Edwards was the platform for the 7th. The projects used a combination of external resources, internal employees and engaged executives.
CIO who led the development and implementation of business technology strategies for a mid-market manufacturing business with operations in France, Germany, Great Britain, Canada, Mexico, US, China and Australia. Technology strategies met all spending targets, key performance indicators (KPIs) and executive / governance demands.
Working in conjunction with key technologists, oversaw the migration of on-premise computing infrastructure to cloud-based services. This change provided more flexibility in managing resource allocations, service consumption and computing costs - and enhanced the overall cybersecurity posture for the business.
Business technology lead for computing solutions for new manufacturing facilities located in Shenzhen and Shanghai China. Working in conjunction local business executives, established a technology supply chain, selected and implemented a computing platform, and assisted with staffing.
As a member of the M&A executive team, led the effort to plan and manage the integration of an acquired company. This project required working cross-functionally to ensure all departments completed their integrations on plan and on budget. Key to the effort was a corporate goal of merging cultures of the two companies rather than having one prevail over the other.
One of the executives who successfully divested a software-based business unit from the core enterprise. Was responsible for technology-centric aspects of the sale and worked closely with legal council on service agreements and customer notifications.
